1. Service Description

CoverPilot ("the Service") provides AI-generated cover letters based on information you provide (job title, company, experience, skills). The Service is operated by Iris Digital, a sole proprietorship registered in France (SIREN 524 317 872).

2. Pricing & Payment

Each cover letter costs $2.99 USD (one-time payment). Payments are processed securely via Stripe. No subscription or recurring charges.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The cover letters are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for high quality, the content is provided as a draft and starting point. You are solely responsible for:

• Reviewing the letter for accuracy, tone, and relevance
• Customizing and fact-checking all information before sending
• Ensuring the letter meets the requirements of your target employer

CoverPilot makes no guarantee of employment outcomes, interview callbacks, or hiring decisions. The Service is a writing assistance tool, not a career placement service.

4. Refund Policy

As a digital product delivered instantly upon payment, all sales are final once the cover letter has been generated and made available to you. This is in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code (exception to the 14-day withdrawal right for digital content delivered with prior express consent).

However, if the Service fails to deliver a letter (technical error), you may request a full refund by contacting us at contact@coverpilot.co.

5. Intellectual Property

Once purchased, the generated cover letter is yours to use, modify, and distribute as you see fit. CoverPilot retains no rights over generated content.

6. Data & Privacy

We process your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Job information you provide is used solely to generate your cover letter and is automatically deleted within 2 hours.

7. Limitation of Liability

CoverPilot is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iris Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including but not limited to: lost job opportunities, inaccurate content, or decisions made based on generated letters.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific cover letter in question.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France. EU consumers retain their rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
